The pressure for young women to conform to media stereotypes and the so-called 'perfect' figure sometimes causes them to do drastic things.
Breasts are a particularly sensitive topic for young women and this touching film uncovers the complex, poignant, and sometimes amusing relationship women have with their small boobs. We meet Laura, who is so unhappy with her small breasts that she has wanted a boob job since she was 14. Unable to afford the operation, she discovers a website where men donate towards the cost of implants in return for photos and emails.
A potential solution to her problem, Laura meets one of the few women who have successfully used the site, as well as others who have had breast enhancement surgery.
Kate has such a negative opinion of herself that she finds it difficult to even leave the house. In a bid to conquer her body image fears, she travels to New York to meet photographer Ellen Fisher Turk, a pioneer in phototherapy treatment.
Then there's Sharon, who uses a suction cup device to boost her bust size. Needing to be worn 12 hours a day, the suction cups cause soreness and create a physical barrier between her and her partner.
Are Sharon's suction cups really the answer or will her obsession with bigger boobs push her partner away completely?
