MORE INFO:

In the mid 1970's, Trevor Hardy's brutal murder of three teenage girls on the streets of North East Manchester left a nation in shock. Renowned as a delinquent child, Hardy spent much of his teenage years in institutions. But as he entered his 20s, his reputation became forged through fear. Reportedly suffering a brain injury as a child, a splinter of bone pressing on Hardy's brain is thought to have triggered extreme bouts of aggression and mindless violence. But the true depravity of Hardy's mind was revealed when he turned to murder as he subjected his teenage victims to unimaginable cruelty and shocking mutilation. Having been sentenced for the three murders he would spend 35 years in prison before dying of a heart attack in 2012.
