Women and body hair: neat and trim or free and wild? This is the question comedienne Shazia Mirza poses in this documentary.
Challenging society's view that women should be hair free, Shazia grows her own body hair for six months, and examines what it would be like if to live in a world where beautiful women could remain hairy without being mocked.
How high maintenance are you?
From watching an 11-year-old girl having her legs waxed to interviewing men clearly outraged at the thought of a hairy woman, Shazia meets a whole host of characters who have extreme opinions on this (erm) hairy matter.
After six months, she advertises for other hairy women to put on a catwalk show, wearing lingerie made of body hair designed and made by artist Tracey Moberly. Will Shazia face angry hair-free mobs, or be embraced by those who have decided to ditch the razor?
