Ever since Jackie could remember, she knew she had been born in the wrong body.
Jackie was born with gender dysphoria and knew from the age of 5 that she had been born into the wrong body.
During her teens she suffered severe bullying from both students and parents in her teens who couldn't understand what she was going through. One student's mother used to shout abuse from her car window after school.
At age 16, Jackie took a step that would change her life and she was the youngest person to undergo gender reassignment surgery.
Following that Jackie was scouted for the Miss England competition and reached the semi-finals.
She has never regretted her decision and feels now more than ever that she has always been a woman.
